Service

I believe strongly in the importance and value of Service work. Since the start of my time at the University of Chicago, I have worked to develop welcoming and inclusive communities, in which my peers can find community, support, and encouragement.

I am also committed to leveraging my institutional power and structural privilege for the good of the academy and those around me. For I believe that if one is not actively working to find solutions for the myriad of problems in academia, then one is just as actively part of the problem.
